Total noob

Postby dave3d » Wed Jun 16, 2010 12:31 am

Hello.

I just found out about this application.
I have been testing it out for the last week, and it blocks great.

But, one thing that doesnt work well:

I cant view some videos (like from shacknews.com and the E3 2010 streaming videos from G4tv.com and ustream.tv).
How do I allow these to play (and sometimes, even just seen/loaded to the web page so I can click 'play' to play them).

Also, I have never used any filter in any application before, hence the 'total noob' title.
Can you walk me through how to do it?
I really would like to purchase this program, but no video's is a deal breaker for me.

TIA

I can fix any site for you but you need to report them with links I can visit.

Create a new post for each site.

http://www.shacknews.com/

Does it matter if it is the link to the actual video?
Or just to the site is fine?

If I have to add a link for every single video, then dont bother.
That would be way too laborious to do 4-5 times a day, for just 1 site.

The actual video please.

Also, please create a new post for each site.

with a topic like "broken video at fakesite.com"

and then all of the information, including a clickable link to the video in question.
