I really dislike the text ads that pervade the RCU forums

What I see for the first line:
Here are some [Ad] of my K4.6 geared 18/49 with [Ad] and heavy Big Joes

Of course, this example i have here doesn't show the style formatting and alt text that RCU uses.

The custom filters I have are
** Anchor Keyword: keywordclick.cfm
Anchor Keyword: utopia/adclick.php
Src Keyword: keepalive.asp
Remove Scripts With Text: document.phpads_used) document.phpads_used
Remove Scripts With Text:

I created them a long time ago (and in a haphazard random order) so some they may be useless, redundant or overlap with the default filters. Is there any way to get rip of the link while retaining the keywords?

** This is the filter that changes the keywords to [Ad]. But it doesn't remove the link

Uncheck the 4th option from the top on the right side of the FILTERING tab.
That's not an ad blocker... THIS is an ad blocker.
No bovines were harmed in the making of this program.
My first popup stopper blocked too much.
My second popup stopper didn't block enough.

I feel kinda stupid that I just came up with this.
I made an advanced filter and told it to replace all the style crud that was irritating me w/just five characters
Code: Select all
style='border-bottom:black 1px dashed;color:black;text-decoration:none;background-color:transparent'>

replaced with: ></a>

Not only does it remove the style element, but it cuts off the text link too.

It all seems so obvious now.
