Suburls?

Postby Nimras » Sun Feb 16, 2014 12:59 pm

How do i make admuncher take all suburls?

example i add to no filter on url youtube.com

Then i noticed if anything comes from lets say s1.youtube.com would it actually filter out that one.

It is due to me playing on a game where i can get free stuff but the link for those free stuff is on a sub filter be.sponsorpay.com even tho it says this My filter match - No filtering on URL: www.agame.com [http://be.sponsorpay.com/assets/beproxy.html?v=2] it still filters off the sponsorpay site i tried adding *.sponsorpay.com yet i still don't get any of those offers up i need because for some reason it filters them.

I have this problem on other sites. Not sure what i need to change to make it show them proberly i have a bad feeling that to make it work on those sites proberly i might need to completely allow those add things = i get them on all sites or is there a solution somewhere?

All i get on those things is a video for free stuff.

Your post is kind of all over the place.

You need to give me exact links to the site in question and exactly what you are trying to do.

If Ad Muncher is breaking something it shouldn't I will fix it.

Its not breaking anything Jeff its just not working as i want it to.

Ok i play 3 games where i can earn items that normally cost money for free.

The example i am giving is from the main site www.agame.com where i play a farming game and there i can get free ranch cash by watching a video.

But atm i get no free offers and when I log in on another PC that does not have ad muncher does it pop up.

What i noticed is the offers are given by sponsorpay.com and when i look in the log from ad munhcer it says this "My filter match - No filtering on URL: www.agame.com [http://be.sponsorpay.com/assets/beproxy.html?v=2]".

So i thought i would try to add www.sponsorpay.com to No Filtering on url. i have also tried sponsorpay.com, .sponsorpay.com and *.sponsorpay.com yet i still for over 2 days have gotten no free video offers in this game on this site. And on the other sites i play i have same problem it says no filtering on main url but i still now and then have problems with their offer sites. I noticed that as long what comes in are from www.sponsorpay.com or just sponsorpay.com then it seems to work but the second they use a suburl such as here be.sponsorpay.com it seems to go no where.

So what i was hoping is there a way to add so ad muncher do not filter any of the suburls may it be s1.whoknows.com or s2.whoknows.com basicly or in some cases s1.s1.whoknows.com, s1.s2.whoknows.com. s2.s1.whoknows.com or s2.s2.whoknows.com

Or have i missed something when i made the filter of mine since i have to disable ad muncher to do those free offers?

Not sure if this helped explaine what i have problems with?

Because Ad Muncher is DOING a great job for me maybe to greate since for those 3 sites where i want access to the free offers i can't lol and my biggest fear is if you help me to get them back i will not have anything from the free offer companies everywhere where i don't want it.

Okay not sure what happen but now i got my first video on this PC.

And it seemed like it now are not filtering *.sponsorpay.com

Not sure why it didn't before.

Anyway with that apparently working i need to ask is there anyway i can make it only ignore sponsorpay via agame.com so it works on other sites?

And is there a reason why it took ad muncher around 2 days to accept *.sponsorpay.com?

3rd party ads can't be blocked or allowed on a per site basis.

also after adding a custom filter, you need to clear your browser cache for it to take effect immediately.

Ahh right i have used Admuncher for ages and my old PC was set up to clear chache everytime i applied changes in Ad Muncher that i had forgotten that part on my new pc.

Hmm well maybe you should look into making it so next update of Ad Muncher can when asked allow third party items be unblocked for that site only would really be usefull.

Anyway i will just have to accept it works but everywhere.

So the *. works it now allows every thing before the *. may it be *.*.*.*.*.?

asterisks are not necessary anywhere but in the middle of filters.

And 3rd party blocking will never work like you want by the very nature of how Ad Muncher works.

You are trying to allow ads...while using an Ad Blocker... ;p

Yes allowing ads on ceartain sites.

So how should i have done it to allow all instanses of a url?

because if i wrote www.url.com then would it also allow hello.url.com? Or should i do url.com or .url.com?
