Filter to block layer hover type ad's

Postby arran777 » Fri Apr 06, 2012 2:10 am

It is becoming very common to get ad's at the bottom right hand side of the browser like this one on this URL for example
http://www.vikitech.com/707/top-15-of-b ... ideo-sites
even tho you can click the x to remove them they are a pain in the ass because these types of ads are now on so many websites.

can a default filter be added or can someone please make me a filter?

Add CSS to all pages:
#upprev_box {display:none !important;}
That's not an ad blocker... THIS is an ad blocker.

My first popup stopper blocked too much.
My second popup stopper didn't block enough.
Ad Muncher was juuuuust right.

The filter has blocked it on that site, but there is still the same type of ad's appearing on others sites down the bottom right hand corner,
like for example this site.

Is it possible to have a filter to block all popup sidebar ad's with a X ?

of course not.

every one will need it's own filter.

Add CSS to all pages:
.sailthruRecommendation {display:none !important;}
