Ad is removed on danish site - but the area is still active

Postby plakata1 » Mon Apr 26, 2010 10:31 pm

1: Go to http://wulffmorgenthaler.dk/strip/2009/ ... et-liftoff

2: First picture is without Ad Muncher disabled. Notice the ad saying 'megastore' to the left of the cartoon on which the mouse hovers.

Image

3: Second picture is with Ad Muncher activated. Although the ad is removed (or invisible) the area remains active, as you can see from the mouse hovering, displaying a hand as any normal link, and the target address remains in the status-bar of internet explorer.

4: Would it be possible to get the area inactivated? For some odd reason I actually click on it quite often, unintentionally.

Using Win 7 x64 Ultimate, IE 8.0.7600.16385, Ad Muncher v4.81 Build 31376/2956

And the page is also in english on www.wulffmorgenthaler.com but I guess I keep getting re-directed to the danish site, no matter what I do - and I don't want to setup to go by proxy right now.

What I am trying to say is; I don't know if you will get re-directed to the .com domain, which may look different from the .dk domain.

Add CSS to all pages:
#shopLeftBanner {display:none;}
That's not an ad blocker... THIS is an ad blocker.

No bovines were harmed in the making of this program.

My first popup stopper blocked too much.
My second popup stopper didn't block enough.
