newegg.com advanced search broken

Postby shoek » Mon Apr 25, 2005 2:25 pm

newegg.com recently redesigned their site. They now feature an advanced search control when browsing a product category. This section, when expanded, does not have the Go button and keyword and min/max price controls when AM filtering is on (any version). I tried Minimal Filtering but that did not help.

Example URL:

http://www2.newegg.com/ProductSort/SubC ... ncedSearch

Please fix or provide a workaround!

default filter below is producing this:
remove div/spans with text: <div id="ad

workaround at the moment, add this to your 'my filters':
<div id="ad and choose 'Don't match against keyword' from filter category

I suggest you do:
<div id="advcat instead of <div id="ad
because if not, all advertisement divs ( '<div id="advertisement' ) will not be filtered, either.
