Battlelog (Battlefield 3 browser interface)

Postby mikel » Thu Oct 27, 2011 7:54 pm

http://battlelog.battlefield.com

Admuncher seems to interfere with this site, causing checkboxes to not work on the server browser page and parts of the interface to bug out. Adding the site to admuncher's whitelist still causes damage, the only way to fix it is to close admuncher and clear cache.

I believe you can sign up for and use the site without having bought Battefield 3 in order to verify

I need some exact steps to follow to see some damage.

I logged in and I have no idea what to do.

The most obvious damage I can reproduce is:

Proceed to Multiplayer->Server Browser
try checking and unchecking filtering options, it does not work for me with Admuncher running

A second obvious one is clicking the profile link at the top center of the page, then clicking friends. Under "import friends from Origin" normally it would display a small animation then a tool to import friends. With Admuncher the animation/tool never show up.

The other issues I've had will be harder to reproduce as they involve sporadic problems creating parties and actually starting the game. Sometimes the Com Center and Party menus in the bottom right don't behave correctly with Admuncher running, forcing you to reload the page to actually show an updated version of your party after friends join.

Is there anyone on the Admuncher team who plays this game and could test it? It really is something that is hard to describe without actively using it to play the game, and as popular as the game is I imagine a lot of other customers will have problems with it as well. The Battlelog site is integral to Battlefield and can't be played without it.

Thanks for your time

Well it's been awhile since someone posted in this thread.
I registered to update on this issue.
Two weeks ago (and before), everything worked fine here (Win7 - Chrome - everything updated to the latest version - AdMuncher included).
Now I have the same issue as OP.
EA/DiCE must have changed / updated something and now AdMuncher needs to update whatever in order to get it working again.

I don't have an account but the fix should still be working.

Well, like I said, it used to work until last week / two weeks ago. It no longer does.

Then it's unlikely to be Ad Muncher causing it...

Well, Battlelog gets updated from time to time. And updates are known to break things that used to work, even though updating is done to add and/or fix content.
This is how technology works. This is why there are drivers updates, software updates etc etc.

I added "http://battlelog.battefield.com -> No Filtering on URL" under 'My Filters". I did this when I first installed AdMuncher a few months ago. Without this filter, the same issue occured. Adding this filter fixed the problem (back then).
