Friendster

Postby Knogle » Fri Mar 25, 2005 8:36 am

I've been wanting to get this off my back for a long time.

AdMuncher breaks several parts of friendster, from the index page (eg. it destroys the notification if you have a new message of testimonial), to the photos page (the photos don't display most of the time). I'm pretty sure it breaks other parts, and i'm not sure which filters are responsible for breaking it.

Simple sign up for an account, browse around, and you'll notice.

I'm not comfortable with posting my l/p here for obvious reasons. Best i can do is PM my login details to you or Murray. Once you're done checking the problem out say in 24h, i'll reset the password.

Who should I PM the details to?

I wasn't expecting YOUR private l/p :)

You said:

So what I was asking was for you to create the fake account and post that l/p for us to use.

I don't think you'll be able to see much. As a new user without any linked friends, you won't have the oppurtunity to view user photos, profiles, or a built-up index/profile page. The full effect can be seen using an in-use account.

Then e-mail me your l/p with instructions and I'll take a look.

This is strange. I use Friendster regularly and it works fine here. I use the latest Ad Muncher beta.
