Firefox 13 google.co.uk Issue

Postby hotlips69 » Thu Jun 07, 2012 10:59 pm

Using the latest Firefox 13.0 whenever I do a google.co.uk search on for example "iphone" I always get the "Ads" at the top & bottom of the search results pages.

This doesn't happen if I'm using IE9 and all I get is the actual search results which is correct.

I'm using Ad Muncher v4.93.33502/4104 Beta.

* I WAS logged in, but even after I sign out & restart the browser, the same issue happens. *

Clear your cache and reload.

No ads here.

That particular search correctly displays with no ads anywhere, but change the word to "iphone" (without the quotes) or something that can be on sale & the ads immediately return.

I simply changed the search word from life to iphone and then back to life, and it's perfect on life, but not on iphone.

I had to disable IPv6 in my router's settings to have AdMucher filter Google. With IPv6 enabled AdMuncher will not filter Google, but with only IPv4 enabled filtering does work. However, I had to reenable IPv6, because without it there would be a 5 second lag before many pages loaded.
