This is absolutely not true.

leap touch was a minor distraction.

Stop speculating or spreading rumors.

if you didn't hear it directly from Murray or myself then it's likely NOT TRUE.

you can tell us the progress of 4.94 or 5.0 to show the truth :D
and you can tell murray, let him come here to write an article to show what he has done and what to do next. :D
or 5.0 is a story.

I disagree and stop attacking Murray and Ad Muncher people.

They don't need to prove anything to you. Certain group of people are like the hitman squad.

No, max, they do need to prove something. Alot of others feel the same way.

Last year it was going to possibly be at the end of the year, then it became Summer this year, and now wer'e nearly closing out the year.
Why can't they even put out a Alpha or Beta? Say something other than "it's coming" - month and month year after year...The last we heard
at the end of last year is it was finished except for the interface - it takes 10 months to program an interface? I can drag, drop buttons in a Visual C++ designer and code them in a few weeks and have it done.

5.0 was supposed to come 2 years ago. Ad Muncher has fallen WAY behind other programs - it STILL can't filter HTTPS.

I got so tired of waiting for it, I switched to Adblock Plus for Firefox. Works perfectly, and it filters HTTPS. So I don't get filtering in ALL programs - I don't really use anything else that needs it.

I have lost faith it will ever come. If it works fine for you, good. But quite a few want to see the newer version for the HTTPS filtering and are tired of waiting for this vaporware to show up.

After the screensaver was on the Contextmenue from Admuncher and the normal Contextmenue from the Task bar was shown. Only on the AdMuncher Icon. Other Icons working normaly.

Hello respected sir,

If you don't plan to update anymore the application, or if you plan to do it in year 2050, at least refund customers who entrusted you application.

I personally bought a lifelicense key, but it is useless if I have to keep using old Internet Explorer version from year 2011. And please, don't tell me to use other browsers.

Be decent please, this is not a charity ONG, but a business. When I boguht the license I didn't hit any "donate", but "Buy now" button.

Thanks for your understanding.

Actually, I don't think it's Windows 8 or 8.1 that are the problem, I'm pretty sure it's just IE 11. I just upgraded my Windows 7 machine to the IE 11 Release Preview and Ad Muncher can't filter it. For now I'm just using the Fanboy Adblock TPL. Hopefully there's something Murray or Jeff can figure out to get IE 11 working soon. :)

IE 11 is the issue.

Ad Muncher works just fine with all other applications on Windows 8/8.1

We've been contacted by Microsoft offering information and assistance in fixing this.

So we are working on a fix but there is no ETA.

I was going to come here and post about AM on Windows 8.1 RTM not working properly with IE11, but fine with everything else, and I then saw this thread!

I'm pleased it's not just me and it's a known issue...

I use the Maxthon browser, which is basically whatever version of IE is on the machine with a wrapper round it of sorts, and some ads have started reappearing that used to be filtered on Windows 8.

Thanks for at least working on a temporary fix...I'm happy to beta test it for you when it's at that stage.

I've update my HTPC to Windows8.1, and One day my wife told me the expensive software I bought is not working.
Now I suggest her to use Google Chrome instead.

I'm pleased that I was not the first one to meet this issue.
I'm looking forward for an update of AdMuncher.

Having now been using Windows 8.1 (with IE11) for 4 days now, I didn't realise how many ads/banners that AM actually removed that I'm now seeing in full! :(

It is SO annoying!

I really hope that this interim IE11 update is expected to arrive with us in the next day or so as I don't think I can stand all these ads for much longer.
Windows 8.1 is released to the general public next Thursday, and with that, there will be a mass of existing, but extra AM users that suddenly realise that AM is not working properly and will come on here and have a moan.
