Very true, but also plan for where the market will be if you release something (could be years away if AM 5.0 timeline is anything to go by..)
iPhone is plateauing in most markets and falling in some. North America is the one market it remains strong.
Android is still growing and is currently the clear leader and no signs of that changing in the short term.
Windows Phone is growing steadily and has overtaken iPhone in 12 countries to become 2nd place to Android.
I'm going to take a guess that the majority of your customer base is in North America and therefore any business plan would be based on short term ROI and therefore you would take the predictable route of iPhone and Android based on platform market share in North America.
Another consideration is 'willingness to buy' on each platform. From the developers I've spoken with in the mobile app world, Android users generally have a significantly lower desire to pay for apps as compared to iPhone and Windows Phone users.
Anyway, I'd happily buy AM on my household's two Windows Phones, two iPads, and if you will do a Windows RT version, on that platform as well
