yes,i quite agree,forum is riddled with spam ,perhaps you should have volunteers as moderators for this purpose.

yes , excess spam is one of the reasons that I rarely post any query on the forums and rather prefer to send emails directly.

I would prefer to post queries on the forum as it might help others as well in case they have the same problems.

1 thing that would help quickly is to lock all old threads, say any thread that has no response within 90 days...

And needs to be automatically done in the future.

That would stop most of the spam I am seeing.
