The toolbar

Postby broman.martin » Fri Aug 29, 2014 8:55 am

Greetings!

Is it possible to alter the toolbar that enables the user to drag it down, in order to be able to filter a target that is hidden behind the toolbar?

Sincerly,
/Martin

I've always felt that to be a stupid place to put the bar - after all - where are most banner ads? Locking it in one place jsut shows how short-isghted this outfit is.

True, but some of them "force down" the page, making the page appearing below their toolbar. This toolbar just needs a simple tweak. And it's not an ad-toolbar :P

it's not possible.

but for the rare ad that is blocked by the toolbar, just view the source code of the page manually...

My first popup stopper blocked too much.
My second popup stopper didn't block enough.

Yeah, I know how to look at the source, but was most thinking for the ones that don't know how to look at the source code.

And adding simple JS code to make it movable shouldn't be that hard. Certainly not impossible. Well, you are the persons behind the bar. Adding a simple code to make it movable shouldn't be impossible. It is just about making the toolbar having a different "top position".

users can report any ad to me and I would remove it or give them the filter they need.
