As I know ad-muncher can remove ads from softwares such as msn, but will it in the future be able to remove the ads in spotify? I know that perhaps the "audio-ads" cant be much done about, but perhaps the in-software-images?

Hit up the Options > Filter Targets tab, and select 'My filter targets' from the dropdown menu,
and then add:
+spotify:*
This should help. I tried myself but you need an invite code and account to login with so I can't verify it.
But this entry should get you started, since it looks like Spotify isn't on the default filter targets list.

Thanks, that did the trick the ads are not showing, however, the "space" for it is.. but I'll live with it! cheers!!

I added +spotify:* to My Filter Targets as suggested. Is there anything else I need to do and should that eliminate all the graphical ads or just some of them? Its only been a little while but I have noticed a couple ads so far. BTW, it would be nice if they designed the program to display ads in one particular section so that they don't appear to be jumping around as you are trying to use it. lol

The was added to Ad Muncher ages ago.
spotify is cleaned up as best as possible.
the remaining items are not ads but just links to songs or playlists.

I understand that you've cleaned up Spotify as best you can but I just wanted to make sure you were aware that I was, indeed, getting ads and I wondered if there's anything I can adjust in my settings or whatnot to prevent them. I'm not sure if you can see the included photo but it's a popup ad for the Chevrolet Cruze.

If Ad Muncher can block it then it will appear in the retrieved urls category on the Logs tab.

I have kinda declared war on Spotify ads, since it started to interfere with some usage aspects.
I would pay the five each month, if they would bump quality up to 224 for the unlimited.
So far, I have not had much luck blocking spotify ads. Seems they have several ways to serve them.
I will be interested if someone finds a 100 percent solution.

Spotify are using https to serve ads, unfortunately.
