i don't like their licensing or partnership programs

Postby yarddog » Wed Dec 09, 2009 12:08 pm

I have been quite proactive online with promoting Admuncher in the past. I went so far as to try to get it on majorgeeks site to find it removed by their monitors. Total today, since Sept 3, 2009, from my affiliate website, I have had about 110 unique visits, and 10 unique downloads. Out of that, i have had 2 purchases by persons that I knew in advance. So, since then, I have seen the beta being pushed in the forums, the irc channel, and who knows where else. The problem with this is that by pushing the beta, it takes any credit to the affiliate away and the affiliate gets nothing.

I have asked about this in email and in the irc and received answers which do not really address the problem. Hence, i have withdrawn my banners and links and recommendations to the product. Thanks. Good luck Admuncher.

You don't need to link to the beta on your site.

That completely solves the problem.

As long as they download v4.8 from your link and install it on their computer, it doesn't matter if they later then install the beta.

Just point to this link modified to reflect your account:

http://www.admuncher.com/download.shtml

This is a complete non issue since you control which version you link to.

If it was a complete non issue, I guess I would have seen some money from it. So it is an issue.

Not at all.

Users aren't purchasing it then.

We can't control when or even if they do so.

It's in our best interest to NOT rip you off so nothing shady is going on here.
