weiwei08: No v4.72 beta is available yet. Please sign up for the Ad Muncher mailing list on our web site if you would like to be notified when one is available.

Thank you so much for your information.

Cross my finger and waiting for it.

The error is "Your signature is too long." which is an option that you can change the admin CP.

It is too long now because there is more text in the status message then there was a few years ago. It's even longer when its a beta build since you add the *beta thing to the end. So yeah if you could allow for a little bit bigger signatures that should do it. Thanks!

war59312: Ahhh, sorry, I misread your original post. I've added an extra 100 chars to the signature length, enjoy :-)

Originally I was planning on releasing betas with improving levels of Vista compatibility (hence my original fortnight time estimate) but I've since reconsidered and will release the first beta once all of the Vista-related changes are complete.
What about x64 support (I'm particularly interested in XP Pro x64 support) ?

x64 support is planned, and we already have most of the code required to support it. In order to get v4.72 out ASAP it may not make it in for this release, but will do so shortly afterwards if not.

Unfortunately you never know the full extent of a problem until you have solved it, and that definitely applies to v4.72.

I'm working flat-out on it, including most weekends, and I'm hoping to have it available before Christmas.

Stay tuned, and rest assured it will be out as soon as humanly possible :-)

I'm using Adblock Plus in Firefox whilst waiting for AdMuncher for Vista. It does a great job with ads and popups but it's the AdMuncher extras I'm missing.
I'd rather wait than rush you though Murray so carry on the good work.

For firefox on just run Ad Muncher as admin so it can save files to its own folder and it will work great on Vista.

IE needs protected mode disabled, but if firefox is your main browser that shouldn't be an issue.
That's not an ad blocker... THIS is an ad blocker.

No bovines were harmed in the making of this program.

My first popup stopper blocked too much.
My second popup stopper didn't block enough.
Ad Muncher was juuuuust right.
