I also didn't realize until after I posted my message that Ad Muncher does not filter the 64-bit version of Internet Explorer.

Bakura: Thank you for the report, but unfortunately this is the best we can do at the moment. In v4.8 I'll be adapting the patching system so Ad Muncher can both filter 64-bit programs' connections and modify the 64-bit menus. I'd have liked to do this for v4.7 but we really need to get this version out.

Thanks for hanging in there, it shouldn't be too long before Ad Muncher is working fully in the 64-bit environment.

Thanks for your response Murray. I didn't mean to take this thread off course on an x64 tangent. While I am excited to have Ad Muncher work in IE 64-bit, I am not in a big rush. I can still open and use IE 32-bit in x64. I love Ad Muncher and it just keeps getting better.

Very much not so, just use the contact tab and live chat and tech support, you will see it is in active development.

The last beta-release was well over a month ago, which is something I'm not used to from the AdMuncher team. Also, I submitted a bug and feature-request, by mail, but did not get a reply (not neccessary, but usually, I always get a reply).

What was the e-mail about?

Also, development hasn't slowed down at all, lots of big changes behind the scenes, just nothing that is publically available yet.

Hi!
I'm using v4.6 Build 10270 on XP SP2 system w IE6. What do you recommend - download and install the latest 4.7 beta or hang around for v 4.8. As I understand it 4.7 will never be publicly released and the next public release wil be 4.8?

Thx for a great app!

The next public release will in deed be 4.7, so you can try the betas, they work very well. the latest one can be obtained from http://www.admuncher.com/beta.pl

4.7 should be out soon as I know murray wants to get it out VERY QUICKLY

Will version 4.7 work with SeaMonkey?

Isn't that just an application suite?

It still uses firefox right?

If so then the v4.7 betas should work for it now.

Unfortunately, no joy. The Ad Muncher browserextensions page reports "The program you are using is not in Ad Muncher's "Filter Targets" list."

SeaMonkey 1.0b was released off the 1.8 branch like FireFox 1.5 so I'm not sure what the problem is.

I'm using the latest Ad Muncher beta, 20836/1263

Is the file name for the browser part of it seamonkey.exe?

If so I can add it for 1265.
