Just wondering -- how do we know if a new build has been released, without getting on IRC?

@sanjiv

Internal betas?

You don't. It's the only way.

Public betas are sent to the mailing list and eventually are available on the Updates tab.

I'm supposed to be an internal beta tester. I used to receive emails, however for many months now I suddenly stopped receiving emails. I don't even receive emails about public betas any longer. Could you please look into that Jeff?

Check the "Credits" section in AdMuncher. My name is there.

There is nothing to look into.

There have been very few public betas lately.

Almost all releases have been internals betas.

How do you define internal betas? Who gets access to them? Only the developers (i.e. yourself and Murray), or a selected smaller group of beta testers?

Like i said, i NEVER receive emails nowadays. And i've not received any admuncher related email for the past few months, year if you will.

Use the contact tab within admuncher to enter the live support channel. From there, you can get a publicly posted INTERNAL beta. Please note, from my understanding, public INTERNAL builds are different from true public betas. True public betas have been tested by the hardcore AdMuncher supports that usually idle in the channel and help out other users like yourself and are therefore cleared for release to the general public for more widespread testing. An internal beta is just that, kept internal to a select group of users so that a specific bug or issue can be tested and examined. For this reason, internal betas dont show up on the mailing list.

If you want to try out of the internal public betas, simply use the contact tab and enter live support and have someone give you the url to it

Thanks for clearing that up.

I was wondering if you could give me the direct URL to the latest set of AM advert filters? I don't seem to be able to connect and download them via AdMuncher at work.

Thank you.

Come to the IRC channel #AdMuncher on the EFnet IRC network.

You can use mIRC or the built in mini-client under the Contact tab inside Ad Muncher.

News about new beta builds and default list updates are there before anywhere else.
