While it won't yet filter 64-bit applications it will work just fine on 64-bit versions of Windows to filter 32-bit applications.

So go ahead and install it. :)

I apologize for not having the time to read through all the pages, but form what I've read, I find the new policy mostly ok, although like most others, I prefer the old one (I bought AM pretty recently).
Just one question:
What happens to those that do not upgrade from v4 to v5? Do they still get ad list updates? Or is it update or uninstall?
Thx

For those with a v4.x license they can continue to use v4.x indefinitely but there won't be list updates.

the entire reason for v5.x is all of the new features (like regex) which requires a new list format.

it's not feasible to maintain two different lists, especially one which will be incapable of removing specific forms of ads.

So, if I get this right, we will be forced to upgrade or be left holding the bag. I see where this is going. In another year or two, what new registration option will be put in place that replaces this new one?

there is no need for a new one.

The licensing system is now yearly for anyone who don't have a lifetime or v4.x license.

I have a question about Ad Muncher licensing with regards to virtualization software such as VMware or Microsoft Virtual PC. My pre-Oct 2006 license is "valid for use on 1 computer simultaneously". If Ad Muncher is simultaneously running on one computer and also inside a virtual machine on the same physical computer, is that considered "use on 1 computer" or would it require a second license?

tough question. i guess you'd have to go by the spirit of the license. the VM is a different machine.
ovd: we can't confirm a version or date, version numbers are particularly meaningless. These will all be in as soon as we can manage.

Imperceptable: Sorry for the slightly complicated checkout form, currently it needs to be like this to avoid complications when providing yearly renewals on top of a license whose expiration date has not yet been set (i.e.: when v5.0 comes out). A lifetime premium renewal can be purchased for a v4.x license by using the following link:

https://www.admuncher.com/rb/rb.pl?Cust ... Complete=1

I'll be notified once the payment goes through and will modify the license accordingly. No pressure to purchase of course, but just posting in case anyone would like to renew before v5.x comes out :-)
It is now Beta 4.9 and will not be far away that v5.0 will be released. So Murray I will do what your hint here LOL since I own currently 3 Licenses for v4xxx I am off to purchase my 4th License but a Lifetime License this time so I will be covered and be able to update to v5.0 without charge when released; well worth it for such an excellent program.
