Hello,

I am a new member and I registered because I am interested to buy a lifetime license and I want clarification on the above post.

1) A lifetime license includes all future versions as premium subscriptions?

2) I have a work PC and a home PC but I never keep them both running at the same time. Can I use the lifetime license on both my PCs?

Thanks

1.) Yes.

2.) You would need one license for each machine.

Even with the old license, if there's the slightest chance of them being in use at the same time you'll need a second license.

Of course. Moving to a *new* computer that you own is always acceptable.

I already tried the link that you have posted. IT was really useful for me, in a way that I was able to use it because it works really well. I am waiting for the new updates after this, hope it would be as soon as possible.

Betanews is linking a new beta: http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/Ad ... 31644604/1
Now news from it here. Is this an official one? If so, will we get it through the AM update system?

If it's hosted on our site it's official.

It's a minor update, read the change log and see if it applies to you.

Sorry if this was asked.. I read each post of the thread, but didn't see this clearly answered.

I realize that users who've purchased version 4.x will have lifetime access to the program, and won't need to upgrade to 5. However, will a 4.x user still get list updates for life?

Thanks!

Of course not. v5.x will support regex and many new filtering categories. The list formats are completely different.

I am highly doubtful that your new strategy will pay off. New customers will use free alternatives (adblock plus), and old customers will feel nickle and dimed.

I appreciate the software, but IMO certainly not worth $30/year (or even $20) when other solutions exist at no-cost.

It wasn't a strategy.

v5.x having a different list format is the result of the huge number of new filtering categories we are adding to it.

Including per site, per filter and per process restrictions, removal of any custom tag you want, regular expressions. And a lot more.

Maintaining a list for the old engine when the new engine is adding new categories to deal with specific short comings in the old one isn't very practical.

Our goal is to make Ad Muncher worth paying for. We are already better than adblock plus. v5.x will completely leave it and any of our competitors far behind.

Many sites like www.hulu.com and www.cbs.com have their video ads removed by Ad Muncher but not by adblock plus. (They can't without breaking the video itself).

The number of sites like this is quite large and growing all the time.

Ad Muncher has been constantly developed for over 10 years and there is no sign of us slowing down. That coupled with daily filter list updates makes us the ad blocking application to beat. :)
ovd: we can't confirm a version or date, version numbers are particularly meaningless. These will all be in as soon as we can manage.

Imperceptable: Sorry for the slightly complicated checkout form, currently it needs to be like this to avoid complications when providing yearly renewals on top of a license whose expiration date has not yet been set (i.e.: when v5.0 comes out). A lifetime premium renewal can be purchased for a v4.x license by using the following link:

https://www.admuncher.com/rb/rb.pl?Cust ... Complete=1

I'll be notified once the payment goes through and will modify the license accordingly. No pressure to purchase of course, but just posting in case anyone would like to renew before v5.x comes out :-)
Cab we get a discount on this if we already bought version 4? I would like to get the lifetime license now, if possible.

Hello. I see that you adding a new lifetime option to buy now, but dont you think the old customers that bought the LIFEtime licence should deserver all the updates? I think the licence back then was supposed to be for all ad mucher version old and future. Am i wrong? Things has changed since then but those who bought it must deserve it.

Nothing has changed for old licenses. They are grandfathered in.
