Ghostery

... "Ghostery http://www.ghostery.com/faq is a browser tool available for Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer. It scans the page for scripts, pixels, and other elements and notifies the user of the companies whose code is present on the page. These page elements aren't otherwise visible to the user, and often not detailed in the page source code. Ghostery allows users to learn more about these companies and their practices, and block the page elements from loading if the user chooses."

Does this browser add-on serve any purpose when Ad Muncher is installed? It seems to pick up some bugs and scripts, with Ad Mucnher running. But does it add value?

Other than letting you know what was on that page, it doesn't do much good at all.

Ad Muncher already blocks all of the web bugs and tracking scripts that Ghostery was designed to spot.
That's not an ad blocker... THIS is an ad blocker.

My first popup stopper blocked too much.
My second popup stopper didn't block enough.
Ad Muncher was juuuuust right.
