Am I understanding this right??

Postby tymm » Tue Apr 02, 2013 1:56 am

Ok, I saw that version numbers no longer matter. When I got my license it was for the premium version and was supposed to be good til version 5. So does this mean I have a lifetime license then?? Or am I mis understanding it.

That's correct.

If your license says it's good until v5.x

then it is indeed a lifetime licenses of sorts.

it never expires and you can use it forever, just not with v5.x

But of course after 5.x is released v4.x will no longer receive filter list updates.

There is absolutely nothing to worry about.

Read what I said.

I'm referring to 4.x licenses specifically.

Not what you are referring to as lifetime licenses.

Guess I will never understand the new pricing policy. Every browser has its own ad blocker, Would I continue to support ad muncher if the Price Point was not so high? Sure. I have used just the browser Ad Blocker, and Used Ad Muncher. While the Browser Ad blocker does need training from time to time, Free is Allot better than 110 bucks. I really don't notice that big of difference.

you don't need the lifetime license..

A basic yearly license is cheap and still better than free ad blockers.

Right now we do more than any other ad blocker.

And with the release of 5.x there won't be anything we can't do.

Yep. I just got the lifetime license by upgrading one during the New Years Day sale and buying two totally new ones for my mom and friend's computer.
