Is it Possible?

Postby aimeewdesign » Fri Jul 05, 2013 4:56 am

I don't know where to post my concern. So, I decide to post it here.
I have ABP installed in my computer.
However, ABP doesn't work in IE.
So, I'm thinking to try ad muncher but I have few concern that I want to ask.

1. Will it not harm my computer if I install ad muncher even if I have ABP installed in my Firefox and Chrome?
2. Will it block annoying ads in IE10?

Nothing will be harmed...

but once you install Ad Muncher you won't need Adblock Plus.

if you insist on using adblock plus anyway, disable Ad Muncher via the Filter Targets tab for firefox and chrome.

-firefox:*
-chrome:*

Add these two entries to the user list on the Filter Targets tab and enable the list, then click apply.
That's not an ad blocker... THIS is an ad blocker.

No bovines were harmed in the making of this program.

My first popup stopper blocked too much.
My second popup stopper didn't block enough.
Ad Muncher was juuuuust right.

hi - new user of Lifetime Admuncher sub. w/ IE 10 -- don't know why it took me so long to install & begin to use this !

it's working wonderfully in IE 10 for me -- no more Tourette's whilst waiting for Amazon to load,
or places like golf channel / pga tour -- w/ their flash stuff in the top that keeps rolling the page back to the top
instead of letting me go ahead to where i want

even the 'naughty' fileshare sites don't get hijacked by all the porn/etc popups

this is an amazing piece of kit, and if the '2 guys in a garage' ever finish finding the time to code this for the Mac, too,
'twould be truly amazing

for me, it's not about the 'hard statistics' that show time or space saved --
it's the emotional-mental freedom i feel in not being slowed down whilst computing @ the speed of thought .....

Thanks for making this fantastic app ~
