What's stopping another Adblock software developer from essentially copying the default filter list that's visually provided in Ad Muncher?

I know you have copyright to the software itself, but how would you know if they're copying your list, even if it was a partial copy? Even more so if they didn't show their filter list like Ad Muncher does.

the list is geared toward our filtering engine.

so copying it wouldn't work very well without knowing how our engine works, especially in edge cases.

May as well ask another question instead of making a new thread.

The filters are updated daily (on premium), but what entails the update process exactly? Do you visit a bunch of random websites each day checking for new advert code, etc? Do you use any type of bot to search for you?

Would just like some insight. :)

I do a lot of browsing as well as respond to sites users report.

I also regularly look through the existing list to cull obsolete entries.
