Filter Targets: My Filter Targets

+winamp:*
-azureus:*

If I remove both entries, I still get mutex timeouts

Hope this helps

I would also like to report a similar problem: this error shuts down my Internet and disrupts web Access on a daily basis, even after installing the v. 4.73 Beta version. ... Shutting down AdMuncher alone is not sufficient to end the disruptions... as it is almost impossible to shut it down... etc. etc..
Extremely annoying . I hope the new Admuncher version will RESOLVE this problem 100%.
Not a happy customer at the moment!!!

I'm using Windows Vista SP 1 with Zone Alarm, Avvira anti-virus, Opera and Internet Explorer

I installed a new computer 2 days ago. Been a happy user of Ad-Muncher for years. No problems.

But now I am getting the Mutex timeout errors. Several times today. Have to reboot to get things working again.

I'm running v. 4.72 (30400/2235). firewall: Zone Alarm, antivirus: AVG 8 free, OS: Vista Home Premium SP1. Opera browser.

I have been using Ad-Muncher on my laptop with Vista, Opera, AVG and it never had this problem. But that computer doesn't have Zone Alarm on it.

Is Zone Alarm with Vista causing the problem?

Apparently was for me, anyway.

Switched to Comodo and although the firewall displays way too many pop-up warnings, problem vanished. Current configuration: AdMuncher, Vista SP1, FF 3.52, avast! and Comodo.

Just wonder now how well AdMuncher will deal with Win7 come October.

Just a quick update to say that this problem should be resolved in the next beta release (any build over 31148). We're just doing some last bug fixes now and should have this out within the next week.

Sorry for the trouble, once you're using the new beta please let me know if you notice the problem again (or of course any others).

Disable NOD32 or the internet monitor module(IMON) inside NOD.

Does the error still appear?

OK, but how can be compromising my online safety a good solution?
Ah well, I guess I have to wait for an new build of NOD32. :(

You have to choose between IMON and Ad Muncher.

They both are very similar and will probably never be fully compatible with each other.

Ah thanks, did not realise that.
The problem was on my mums PC, she has her own AM-license which I gave to her (a clean PC is a happy PC, so I need to come to the rescue that often - a great time saver :) ).
On my PC, Eset NOD32 4.2 x64 gives no problems at all wit AM.
Thanks for all your help!
