uses an interesting trick to fake the adress in the addressbar. Could we filter tricks like this? (It's not an ad, but I think the filtration in this case is legitimate.)

I can tell it's fake in Opera, Firefox and IE.

Users need to visit the site from a bookmark or type in ebay.com manually.

By the way, I found this filter list for Firefox extension "Adblock". It is cool, and contain many rules that Ad Muncher has missed. Hope we can sort of combine their filter list to AD Muncher.

Maybe don't use a browser that is just IE in a different shell? Very big security problem IMO

I forgot to mention. I use windows 2000 SP4. Stop using IE based browsers and you won't have such security concerns. That is all I can say!

Anyone who visits a link from an unknown and untrustworthy source, like a spam e-mail deserves what they get.

The only way to get phished in this way is to visit the bad link by clicking on it.

Type in ebay.com manually or use a bookmark you created and you will never have this problem.

... even if I do not see relation between stupidity of users (which cannot be eliminated by AM filters) and using dirty tricks in page source. (Which can be eliminated in AM filters.)

I peruse hundreds of potential entries almost every day.

Obviously most of them don't make it into the default list.

Sometimes there aren't any easy anwsers.

I do try my best though.

I apologize for any perceived attitude.

I'll continue to pound away at the list, feel free to report ads and phishing pages regardless of how I choose to handle each one.
