Rotating articles

Postby allenjwsc » Fri Jun 10, 2011 12:38 pm

Though I realize that people must like such things because they are everywhere, rotating articles on a web site are extremely annoying to me. When I don't care to look at them, they might as well be flash ads (which I block), and when I do want to look at one, often it flips to the next one before I finish reading.

Is there a way, in general, to stop the rotating? I don't want to block the entire object or content, just want to stop the flipping/rotating? I can't think of a single instance when I DO want this to happen.

An example is the Ad Muncher home page (no offense, I'm sure it is a popular feature), but there are many.

Thanks.

No it isn't possible.

The number of possible ways to do it are infinite and the code used is largely for legit content.
That's not an ad blocker... THIS is an ad blocker.

My first popup stopper blocked too much.
